The 2525RB's door opens at the bath end
Forest River's drawing puts the Solid Step entry at the rear of the door side, right beside the bathroom. The bath runs across the back wall: shower in the door-side corner, toilet in the middle, lavatory and linen cabinet in the far corner. Stepping in, the kitchen is ahead on the same wall, built as a peninsula with the sink, range, microwave, and overhead cabinets, a refrigerator label, a TV, and two stools. Across the aisle, a box off the far wall holds a 60-inch theater seat under overhead cabinets, with a pantry and another refrigerator label beside it.
The front is the bedroom: a 60 by 80 inch queen with flip-up storage, a wardrobe on each side, an optional TV, and drop-frame pass-through storage below. Outside, a pull-out griddle sits on the door side under a 20 ft awning.
The reason to shortlist the 2525RB is the tank and rating package for two people. It carries 58 gallons of gray, twice the 29 in most of the line, for 140 gallons in all, and its 1,862 lb of GVWR over dry weight is 1 of 5 among the plans with a GVWR, equal to its published cargo capacity.
The tradeoff is weight per sleeper. At 5,823 lb the 2525RB is 11 of 13 by dry weight while rated for two, and the 2524FBT offers the same queen and a full-width rear bath for 675 lb less. What the extra weight buys on the drawing is the theater-seat box, the peninsula with its two stools, the pull-out griddle, and the second 29 gallons of gray. A couple who cooks inside and camps away from hookups will use all of it; one who mostly needs a bed at the end of a drive may not.

Rear-entry checks on a 2525RB
- Come in the door and turn toward the bathroom. With the entry beside the bath, check whether the bathroom door and the entry door can both stand open, and where wet boots go.
- The drawing prints FRIDGE twice, on the peninsula side and in the far-wall box next to the pantry. Open both and ask which one is the refrigerator on this unit.
- Ask for the slide to be brought in and walk from the entry to the queen. The theater-seat box and the peninsula face each other across that path.
- Pull out the griddle on the door side and check where it sits relative to the entry steps when the awning is out.
2525RB: Forest River weights, RVUSA GVWR
Dimensions, dry weight, hitch weight, cargo capacity, tanks, awning, and the layout are from Forest River's 2027 Rockwood Mini Lite 2525RB figures and drawing, read on 2026-09-26. Forest River calls the dry weight (UVW) and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment. GVWR, sleeping capacity, and slide count come from RVUSA's 2027 guide. For this plan RVUSA's GVWR equals Forest River's UVW plus CCC exactly, 5,823 lb plus 1,862 lb, so the two sources agree.
