An island kitchen and outside griddle on a two-sleeper 2513S
Four Mini Lites share the 25 ft 10 in length, the longest in the line. The 2513S is the only one of the four rated for two sleepers and the only one with two slides; the 2506FK, 2509S, and 2520BH each sleep four or more on one slide. That makes it a couples plan built at bunkhouse length, and the drawing shows where the room went.
Forest River's drawing puts a 60 by 74 inch queen at the front with flip-up storage, a wardrobe, and shelving in a small box on the wall opposite the door. A pantry and a fireplace cabinet face the living area from the foot of the bed. The middle of the trailer is an island with the sink, with the range and microwave on the door-side wall. Across from it, a box off the opposite wall holds the 67-inch theater seat with overhead cabinets and a refrigerator at its rear end. The rear holds the shower, toilet, and lavatory, a pantry beside the shower, and linen storage. Outside, the rear door-side corner carries an outside kitchen with a griddle, and the awning runs 20 ft.
The tradeoff is seating. As drawn, the theater seat is the only seat in the trailer and no table is labelled with it. Forest River lists two options for that spot: a 44-inch booth dinette, or a 68-inch hide-a-bed with tables. A couple who eats inside every night is choosing between a place to watch and a place to eat, and the option on the lot unit decides it.

What to open on a 2513S with the island and two slides
- Find out which seating option the unit was built with: the theater seat, the 44-inch booth dinette, or the 68-inch hide-a-bed with tables. Sit where you would eat breakfast before signing.
- The drawing prints FRIDGE twice, once at the rear of the theater-seat box and once in the rear door-side corner beside the outside kitchen. Open both spots and ask which is the refrigerator on this unit.
- Ask the dealer to bring both slides in, then walk from the entry past the island to the bathroom and to the bed. The island sits in the middle of the aisle, and this is the route at a rest stop.
- The drawing carries a badge saying the plan is available with Forest River's Power Package off-grid options. Ask whether this unit has it, since anything added after the standard build comes out of the 1,712 lb cargo figure.

Length, weights, tank sizes, and the layout come from Forest River's 2027 Rockwood Mini Lite 2513S figures and drawing, read on 2026-09-26. Forest River labels its dry weight (UVW) and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) as estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment, so the label on the exact trailer governs. Sleeping capacity and slide count come from RVUSA's 2027 spec guide.
RVUSA's guide lists a slightly lower dry weight than Forest River's UVW, and a GVWR that does not equal Forest River's UVW plus CCC (that sum is 7,720 lb, arithmetic from the two published figures). This page uses Forest River's weights, and the certification label on the exact unit settles the rating.
