Forest River's 2524FBT specifications
How the 2524FBT undercuts the shorter 2205S on weight
The 2524FBT is 3 of 13 by dry weight, and the two lighter plans, the 2109S and 2108RB, are 3 ft 5 in and 3 ft 7 in shorter. The 2205S is 2 ft shorter and still 55 lb heavier. Its 565 lb hitch weight is 2 of 13, behind only the 2109S's 557 lb. For a buyer who wants the full 25 ft 9 in of floor at the lowest weight the line offers, this is the plan.
Forest River's drawing shows both side walls straight, with no box projecting from either side. Inside that shell, the 60 by 80 inch queen sits at the front with flip-up storage and a wardrobe on each side. The middle is a living area: a 67-inch theater seat with overhead cabinets on the wall opposite the door, and on the door side a fireplace and TV cabinet with a pull-out table. The kitchen is at the rear on the door side, with sink, range, microwave, and overhead cabinets, and the refrigerator and pantry face it from the far wall. The bathroom spans the rear: shower, toilet, lavatory, and a linen cabinet. The front pass-through storage is labelled for an optional steel sliding tray, the awning is 20 ft, and the drawing carries the Power Package off-grid badge.
The tradeoff follows from the straight walls. The aisle between the theater seat and the fireplace cabinet is the whole living room, and the pull-out table is the only table drawn. RVUSA rates the plan for up to 3, 6 of 13 in the line, and cargo capacity is 1,807 lb, 7 of 13.

Pull-out table to rear bath: a 2524FBT walkthrough
- Pull the table out from the fireplace cabinet and sit on the 67-inch theater seat. Count how many people can eat at it, because it is the only table in the drawing.
- Stand in the aisle between the theater seat and the cabinet and check the width against how many people will be inside on a rainy day.
- Open the front pass-through storage on both sides and ask whether the optional steel sliding tray is fitted.
- Go to the rear, where the kitchen, refrigerator, and full-width bathroom all meet, and check that the bathroom door and the refrigerator door can open at the same time.

Length, weights, tank sizes, and the layout are from Forest River's 2027 Rockwood Mini Lite 2524FBT figures and drawing, read on 2026-09-26. Forest River labels the dry weight (UVW) and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) as estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment. Sleeping capacity comes from RVUSA's 2027 spec guide.
RVUSA's guide gives a dry weight a little below Forest River's UVW, and a GVWR that falls short of UVW plus CCC, which is 6,955 lb when the two are added. This page uses Forest River's numbers, and the weight label on the unit settles the rating.
