2522FB: a 39-inch dinette across from a 60-inch theater seat
Forest River's 2522FB drawing gives the living area two seats. On the door side, a 39-inch dinette sits under a TV on a lift. Opposite it, a box off the far wall holds a 60-inch theater seat, which can be ordered as a 60-inch hide-a-bed, with the refrigerator beside it. That arrangement is the reason to look: a couple gets a real table without giving up the theater seat, and the plan is rated by RVUSA for up to 4.
The kitchen is at the back. The range sits in the rear end of the same box, under overhead cabinets, and the sink counter with the microwave runs along the rear wall. The bathroom takes the other rear corner, with shower, toilet, and lavatory. The 60 by 74 inch queen is at the front with flip-up storage, and a small second box on the far wall carries the pantry and wardrobe. The awning is 20 ft, and the drawing carries Forest River's badge for Power Package off-grid options.
It is one of five plans at 25 ft 9 in, 9 of 13 by dry weight at 5,788 lb, and 5 of 13 by hitch weight at 645 lb. Cargo capacity is 1,857 lb, 6 of 13. Only the 2524FBT puts a smaller share of its dry weight on the hitch.
The tradeoff is that the cook and the bathroom share the back of the trailer, and both drain to a 29-gallon gray tank. The 2515S matches the 2522FB on length, dry weight, sleeping capacity, and slide count but carries 58 gallons of gray, 29 more. Beyond the gray tank, their published figures differ only by 15 lb of hitch weight, 15 lb of cargo capacity, and a foot of awning, so the 2522FB has to win on its drawing.

Open record →Rear-kitchen questions for the 2522FB
- The range is drawn inside the far-wall box. Ask for the slides to be brought in and check whether the range, refrigerator, and theater seat are still reachable for a roadside lunch.
- Stand at the rear sink counter and open the bathroom door. The kitchen and bath meet in the back of the trailer, and two people using both at once is the test.
- Sit at the 39-inch dinette with everyone who will eat there, then raise the TV lift behind it and check the view from the theater seat across the aisle.
- Ask whether the unit has the standard theater seat or the 60-inch hide-a-bed. Then ask where each of the four people in RVUSA's rating would sleep on this particular unit.

Forest River's 2522FB figures and RVUSA's differences
The layout, length, weights, tanks, and awning are from Forest River's 2027 Rockwood Mini Lite 2522FB drawing and figures, read on 2026-09-26. Forest River states that the dry weight (UVW) and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) are estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment. Sleeping capacity and the slide count come from RVUSA's 2027 guide.
RVUSA lists a slightly lower dry weight than Forest River's, and its GVWR does not agree with Forest River's UVW plus CCC, which adds to 7,645 lb. With the two sources apart, this page carries Forest River's weights.
