Manufacturer floor plan
Theater seat, booth dinette, or hide-a-bed in the 2205S slide
Forest River's drawing for the 2205S puts a 67-inch theater seat in the slide under overhead cabinets and prints two options beneath it: a 44-inch booth dinette, and a 68-inch hide-a-bed with tables. The standard drawing shows no other table, so the option on the unit decides where two people eat. Sleeping capacity is up to 2 on RVUSA's listing, the lowest figure in the line and one the 2205S shares with four other plans.
The rest of the plan is fixed. The queen fills the front between two wardrobes, with overhead cabinets on the front wall and flip-up storage printed at its foot. A fireplace and TV stand on the door side next to the bed, followed by the cooktop with a microwave and a sink under overhead cabinets. The fridge sits near the rear by the bath wall with a pantry across from it, the bath with its curved corner shower fills the off-door rear corner, and the only entry is at the rear of the door side, beside a wardrobe labeled Ward.
Against the 2109S, the plan it most resembles, the 2205S adds 6 inches of bed length and a fireplace for 731 lb more dry weight, while its 600 lb hitch weight is 3 of 13 lightest and only 43 lb more. Its hitch weight is 11.5% of dry weight, 4 of 13 from the lowest share.

- Find out which slide seating the unit on the lot has: the 67-inch theater seat as drawn, the 44-inch booth dinette, or the 68-inch hide-a-bed with tables. It changes where you eat, and the unit's label weight reflects whatever was installed.
- With the slide in, walk around the 60 by 80 inch queen. The bed runs between two wardrobes with the fireplace and TV beside it, so check that both wardrobe doors open and the flip-up storage lifts with the slide closed.
- Come in by the rear Solid Step with an armful of groceries. The fridge, pantry, Ward cabinet, and bath door all sit within a few steps of the only door, so check that two people can pass there. If off-grid use matters, ask whether the unit carries the Power Package that the drawing marks as available.

2205S figures: Forest River first, RVUSA for three
Length, height, weights, cargo capacity, tank sizes, and the 18 ft awning are from Forest River's 2027 2205S page, read on 2026-09-26, and the room layout is read from the labels on its 2027 drawing. Forest River labels the dry weight UVW and the cargo figure CCC and calls both estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment. GVWR, sleeping capacity, and slide count are RVUSA's 2027 figures. RVUSA also lists its own dry weight for this plan, lower than Forest River's UVW; this page uses Forest River's 5,203 lb throughout, and RVUSA's GVWR equals that UVW plus the 1,591 lb CCC.
