Rockwood Mini Lite 2523MBR

The 2523MBR is the Mini Lite that moves the bedroom to the middle: a 60 by 80 inch queen in its own box, a kitchen across the front wall, and a full-width bath at the rear. It is also the heaviest plan in the line, 6,123 lb dry.

Front kitchen and mid queen in the 2523MBR

Forest River's drawing starts at the hitch end with the kitchen. The sink sits on the front wall under overhead cabinets, a pantry fills the corner opposite the door, and the range and microwave run along the door side. An island with a TV and two stools stands in front of them. Beside the kitchen, a box off the far wall holds a 67-inch theater seat, offered as a 68-inch hide-a-bed, with the refrigerator at its front end.

Behind that, a second box on the same wall carries the 60 by 80 inch queen with overhead cabinets. Across from the bed are a closet beside the entry, a dresser with an optional TV, and a wardrobe drawn with washer and dryer prep. The bathroom spans the rear wall: shower, toilet, lavatory, and linen cabinet. Three exterior storage doors are labelled, and the awning is 15 ft.

Two figures set it apart in the family. Its 54-gallon fresh tank is the only one in the line above 53 gallons, and with 58 gallons of gray and 29 of black its tanks total 141 gallons, the largest in the Mini Lite family. For a couple or a small crew that stays off hookups, that is the case for this plan.

The washer and dryer prep is where this ranking can move. The drawing labels the space as prep, and any appliances added there are extra equipment, so their weight comes out of the 1,622 lb cargo capacity, which is already the ninth highest of 13.

From the 2523MBR entry to the washer and dryer prep

  1. Step in through the Solid Step entry. The closet is beside the door and the bedroom is straight across, so check how private the queen is from the doorway with the slides out.
  2. Walk forward to the kitchen and sit at the island's two stools. With the theater seat as the only other seat, count where a third person eats.
  3. Ask for both slides to be brought in. The queen and the theater seat are each drawn in a box, so see whether the bed, the bathroom, and the refrigerator are still usable at a rest stop.
  4. The drawing prints FRIDGE twice: once inside the theater-seat box and once outside the door-side wall at the front. Ask which refrigerator this unit has before counting on either.

Forest River describes the dry weight (UVW) and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) as estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment, so the certification label on the trailer is what counts.

RVUSA's guide shows a higher dry weight for this plan than Forest River's UVW, and a GVWR that is not the sum of Forest River's UVW and CCC (by addition, 7,745 lb). The page follows Forest River's figures.
