A front kitchen and two doors on the 2506FK
Forest River's drawing puts the kitchen across the front of the 2506FK: a pantry in the off-door corner, a sink along the front wall under overhead cabinets, and the cooktop and microwave on the door side, with a Fridge label in that front corner. The slide, just behind the kitchen on the off-door side, holds a 44 by 85 inch U-dinette, with a 78-inch theater seat or a 78-inch hide-a-bed, each with tables, printed as options. Opposite it, a fireplace and TV share the door-side wall. The bath sits mid-trailer with its shower on the door side, and the rear is the bedroom: a 60 by 74 inch queen between two wardrobes, overhead cabinets on the rear wall, flip-up storage at its foot, and a TV option.
Two Solid Step entries serve the two halves, one at the kitchen and one at the bath and bedroom end, so the bedroom has a door of its own.
The front kitchen is the tradeoff to weigh. The fridge, cooktop, and pantry all sit at the hitch end, and the published 710 lb hitch weight already ranks 11 of 13 (12.5% of dry weight) even though the 5,678 lb dry weight sits mid-pack at 8 of 13. That hitch figure is for the empty trailer; a stocked pantry at the front adds to it. What the plan gives back is capacity: 2,032 lb of cargo, and a 58 gal gray tank, one of four in the line, for 140 gal of tanks in all with 53 gal fresh and 29 gal black.

1 in shorter and 110 lb heavier, with 50 lb less hitch weight and 160 lb less cargo capacity. The same three zones run the other way: queen at the front, bath in the middle, kitchen along the rear wall. It keeps two entries and the 58 gal gray tank, adds a second slide, and sleeps the same four.

The 44 by 85 inch U-dinette slide and its 78-inch options are the same, but it sleeps up to 7, with a Murphy bed at the front and double bunks at the rear. Its gray tank is 29 gal, half the 2506FK's.

Walk the 2506FK from the kitchen door to the bedroom door
- Enter by the front Solid Step. The cooktop, microwave, and front-corner fridge are right there, so check that the fridge door and the entry door do not block each other.
- Find the second spot labeled Fridge: the drawing prints it on a tall cabinet mid-trailer on the door side, next to the fireplace and TV. Ask which space holds the refrigerator on this unit and what the other one is.
- Seat four at the 44 by 85 inch U-dinette, or, if the unit has the 78-inch theater seat or hide-a-bed option instead, count the places at its tables.
- Walk past the mid bath to the rear queen and out through the second door. Check how the bath door and the flip-up storage at the foot of the bed clear each other.
2506FK: two sources and one GVWR mismatch
Length, height, dry weight (Forest River's UVW), hitch weight, cargo capacity (CCC), tanks, and the 19 ft awning come from Forest River's 2027 page for the 2506FK, read on 2026-09-26, and the rooms are the labels on its 2027 drawing. Forest River marks UVW and CCC as estimated averages based on standard build optional equipment. Sleeping capacity and slide count come from RVUSA's 2027 spec guide. RVUSA also lists a GVWR for this plan that does not equal Forest River's UVW plus CCC, which add to 7,710 lb by arithmetic; the weights on this page are Forest River's.
