Ten beds, 7,800 lb, one slide
Keystone publishes the 2700BH at 7,800 lb dry, which ranks 2 of 16 in the family and sits only 720 lb above the 2100ML, the other Cougar Sport. No other Cougar with a published sleeping capacity of 10 comes near that weight: the 29MBD is 1,525 lb heavier, the 364BHL 3,869 lb heavier, and the 360MBI 4,699 lb heavier. Hitch weight is 1,435 lb, 3 of 16 lightest and an 18.4% share of dry weight (8 of 16 lowest), and it is the same figure Keystone publishes for the 28RLI.
The tagline reads "Cougar Sport, Master King Bed, Private Bunk Room w/ Triple Bunks". The feature list names a king bed with underbed storage, a booth dinette, a large shower, a 40-inch LED TV, 50-amp service with a 15K BTU air conditioner in both the living area and the bedroom, a tankless water heater, full pass-through storage, and a 10.6 cubic foot refrigerator. Length is 31 ft 11 in, 6 of 16 shortest, which leaves 8 ft 1 in inside a 40-foot pad.
The bunk room is where the sleeping count comes from and where the questions are. Triple bunks stacked three high mean three mattress sizes and three ceiling gaps to check, and the word private in the tagline means a door or a divider to close during the walkthrough. Keystone names a king bed, the triple bunks, and a booth dinette; ask which of those make up the published 10, because the plan carries them all on one slide.
The other side of the ledger is carrying capacity. Keystone publishes 2,100 lb, 11 of 16 in the family and 770 lb below the 2100ML. Gear for ten people is measured against that figure, and the full pass-through storage is where most of it will ride.

Bunk room first, then everything else
- Walk into the bunk room, close whatever makes it private, and measure all three bunks: length, width, and the gap to the bunk above. Three stacked bunks share one ceiling, so the top one gets the least of it.
- Sit in the booth dinette and ask what it converts to. With a king and three bunks named, the dinette is part of the path to a published 10.
- Retract the single slide and walk from the entry to the bunk room and to the bathroom. One slide on a ten-sleeper means the closed-up floor is the one you travel with.
- Open the full pass-through storage and lay out what ten people bring. Carrying capacity is published at 2,100 lb, 11 of 16 in the family, and the pass-through is the storage Keystone names.
Other ways to sleep 10 in a Cougar
Every other ten-sleeper in the family belongs to the larger Cougar subline except the 29MBD. The 23MLE is here for anyone who only needs six.
