Where the 386FL fits

The 386FL belongs beside the 385FL on the first walkthrough, not on a separate prestige ladder. Alliance currently publishes identical length, dry weight, and hitch figures for both. The useful distinction is the front-room seating geometry and how it changes conversation, television viewing, guest beds, and aisle space.

Reason to shortlist it

Alliance describes an elevated front room with an L-shaped sleeper sofa, power-reclining love seat, second sleeper sofa, 65-inch television, and fireplace. The middle kitchen and half bath lead to a rear bedroom, full bathroom, dual-sink vanity, walk-in wardrobe, and washer and dryer preparation. This is a seating revision within the front-living concept.

Tradeoff to resolve

The current product page lists MSRP as TBD, and the 2026 brochure predates this designation. RVBlueprints therefore does not carry forward a GVWR or tank pattern from the 385FL. Buyers must obtain the 386FL's actual certification, cargo, tire, and pricing documents instead of assuming its matching headline numbers make every specification identical.

Layout and scale

Scale side view of the Alliance Alliance Paradigm 386FL drawn from its published exterior length and height, shown against a 13 ft 6 in clearance line
Side elevation drawn to scale from the published exterior length of 41 ft 4 in and exterior height of 13 ft 5.5 in. The height is the figure published across this model line rather than for this floor plan, because it has no current manufacturer page. The outline is a generic fifth-wheel shape, not a profile of this unit. Roof sits 0.5 in under a 13 ft 6 in limit. Overall length is 1 ft 4 in longer than a 40 ft pad.

Current specifications and source-year boundary

Alliance currently labels this product page 2027 and lists 15,636 lb dry weight with a 3,052 lb hitch figure. The available Paradigm brochure is a 2026 source. RVBlueprints does not silently transfer its GVWR or tank ratings to a 2027 trailer.

No model-specific 2026 brochure reference exists for the 386FL. Current Alliance pages provide its length, dry weight, hitch weight, and layout highlights, while MSRP remains TBD. Every other rating and capacity stays unpublished here until supported by a current manufacturer document or exact-unit label.

No tow-vehicle approval: Dry and brochure hitch figures cannot approve a truck. Check the exact truck's payload label, GVWR, front and rear GAWR, tires, hitch system, GCWR, passengers, accessories, and cargo. Read the trailer's certification, cargo, and tire labels, then weigh the loaded combination by axle.

Tank figures are shown only with their source-year boundary. They do not establish usable capacity, tank segmentation, valve arrangement, or the loaded-weight effect of carried water. Confirm the labels, monitor panel, valves, and current owner's information for the exact trailer.
